William Sim
His birthplace was most likely Cruden in Aberdeenshire, but the exact date is unknown. He married Helen Anand in Cruden in 1738.
John Sim (1757-)
The son of William Sim and Helen Anand. Born at Tarcets Hill in 1757. He married Elizabeth Wilson in Cruden in 1787. In spite of John being already around 30 at the time of his marriage they had several children born in Logie Buchan and Artrochie.

The daughter of John Sim and Elizabeth Wilson, born in Logie Buchan in 1806. She married James Davidson in Cruden in 1829.
