John Clarke (bef 1595-1695) The son of Rowland Clarke, he seemed to have lived in Uffington most if not all of his life. His first marriage was to Martha Blakemore, his second wife is unknown. His third wife was Sarah Perkinson. They were married at St. Mary’s in Shrewsbury in 1625 and subsequently had two children,
He was buried at Uffington in 1665.
