Samuel Cook My oldest ancestor in this line. At this time we know little about him other than what we’ve discovered from the marriage certificate of his son. It seems that Samuel was a haulier and was probably born in the Worcester area sometime before 1810.
Edwin Cook The son of Samuel, born in Worcester and baptised in St. Martins church in 1828, his mother is not mentioned in the records. At various time he was a haulier, a fireman, a porter and a foreman at the hop merchants. In 1849 he married Sarah Mills at Claines and they had many children in the town. In 1863 he is listed as part of the Angel St. Congregational Church.
