The Clarke Family of Shropshire As you can see the Clarke family married into the Botevyle family and my line therefore goes through the distaff side. Some of the other Clarke lines still having living descendants today, some of whom have made contact with me. We can trace the line back a few more generations prior to the liaison with the Botevyle family and I briefly layout here the direct male ancestry of my ancestor Martha Clarke.
They appear to be linked to the Clarke family of Hyde, Cheshire.
