In 1929 she married Frank Powers at Birmingham Register Office and they lived a long life together. Beatrice & Frank had ten children, Kenneth, Doreen, Molly, John, Shirley, Alan, Christine, Peter, Vivian & Helen. The family lived many years in Severn Road in Birmingham. For a few years in later life Beatrice & Frank moved to Rushall before moving back to Shirley after Frank died. Beatrice lived on until just before her 80th birthday when she died in Shirley in 1988 not too far from where she had been born in Sparkhill.
